Updated white-nose syndrome map June 7, 2017

 

Reflects the following:

Swab samples from bats in Dixon and Lancaster counties, Nebraska tested positive for the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome.  No visible fungus or mortality noted.

A swab from one bat in Stokes County North Carolina collected from winter bat surveys in the Piedmont and Coastal Plain regions tested positive for the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome. Visible fungal growth consistent with WNS was observed on four of seven tricolored bats.
