Reflects the following:
In Baraga County, Michigan, two little brown bats from separate mine locations have both been confirmed positive for white-nose syndrome.
In Wayne County Mississippi, the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome was found on tricolored bats from two caves, one of which is the largest known cave in the state with the largest known southeastern myotis maternity roost. Both caves are significant hibernacula in the state for tricolored bats.
In Laurens County South Carolina, one of three bats tested from McKellar Cave were positive for the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome.
